Do you have the latest version of E6Golf?

Having most recent version of E6Golf can fix issues you may be having.
To check the version: Launch E6Golf, from the Main Menu select OTHER, then E6 INFO. Software version will be displayed on screen.

Does your tracking system work independent of E6Golf?

Update any firmware, drivers or software for your tracking device. Contact the manufacture for more details. Using your device’s software, test to see if shots are registering outside of the E6Golf software.

Is your green USB software protection dongle plugged into the PC?

Troubleshooting

Extract and Install E6Golf 1.6 from ZIP file

Extract

  1. Download the file.
  2. To extract the contents, RIGHT CLICK on E6Golf_1.6_Full.zip and select EXTRACT ALL.
  3. Select a destination and check the “Show extracted files when complete” option, next click the EXTRACT button.

E6GOLF SECURITY DONGLE

A software protection dongle (commonly known as a dongle or key) is an electronic copy protection and content protection device which, when attached to a computer, unlocks software functionality or decodes content.

USB Dongle

GENERATE A DONGLE PACKET

Step 1– LAUNCH PRODUCT AUTHORIZER

WINDOWS 10 – Click START MENU >  TRUGOLF > PRODUCT AUTHORIZER. User Account Control > Click YES
WINDOWS 8 – Locate and launch the PRODUCT AUTHORIZER on the START SCREEN.

– Click START MENU > ALL PROGRAMS > TRUGOLF > PRODUCT AUTHORIZER. User Account Control > Click YES

Step 2– Product Authorizer (BETA) – Click on GENERATE DONGLE PACKET

Step 3– Save Dongle Information Packet – Save (.dip) file to the DESKTOP by Selecting “Desktop” on the left and then clicking SAVE.

Note: If you do not have an internet connection, use a USB flash drive to transfer the (.dip) file to a computer that has an internet connection.

APPLY THE DONGLE UPDATE

If you have done so already, save the (.paf) file you received from Customer Support to your computers DESKTOP.

Step 1– LAUNCH PRODUCT AUTHORIZER

WINDOWS 10 – Click START MENU >  TRUGOLF > PRODUCT AUTHORIZER. User Account Control > Click YES
WINDOWS 8 – Locate and launch the PRODUCT AUTHORIZER on the START SCREEN.
WINDOWS 7
– Click START MENU > ALL PROGRAMS > TRUGOLF > PRODUCT AUTHORIZER. User Account Control > Click YES

Step 2– Apply Update – Click on the APPLY UPDATE button.

Step 3– Apply Product Authorization File – Locate the (.paf) file you saved on your DESKTOP. Click OPEN.

Step 4– Update applied Successfully – Click OK.

Error: d3dx_43.dll is missing

This is likely because the Windows machine you are running the application on, has gone out of date.
You need to update Windows with one of the following DirectX updates:

Windows 7|8|Vista: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ph/download/confirmation.aspx?id=34429

KMP_AFFINITY Error

Errors:
OMP Warning #72 KMP_AFFINITY: affinity only supported for Intel (R) processors.
OMP Warning #71 KMP_AFFINITY: affinity not supported, using “disable”.

To fix try the following:

  • Right click on My Computer (or This PC)
  • Select “Properties
  • From the Basic Information screen, select “Advanced System Settings
  • Select “Environment Variables” from the Advanced System Properties  tab
  • Locate and select the variable “KMP_AFFINITY”
  • Once selected, press “Edit
  • On the Edit System Variable screen, change the Variable value to“disabled

If you don’t see the “KMP_AFFINITY” in the variable list provided

  • Click on “New” under the system variables section
  • Type “KMP_AFFINITY” in the variable name field
  • Type “disable” in the variable field
  • Then click “OK
Connection Error – Required Version 1.6.X.X – You will not be able to log in until the software has been updated.

Missing MSVCR110.dll?

System Error: The program can’t start because MSVCR110.dll is missing from your computer.

Missing Golf Courses

If you recently downloaded and installed E6Golf v1.6 your course list may have been emptied, with the exception of Wade Hampton Golf Club.

How do you get your courses back?
No need to worry, additional content will download upon the first launch of E6Golf. Downloaded course content will be installed upon exiting E6Golf v1.6.

E6Golf will download all necessary content as fast as your internet connection will allow. If your internet connection is really slow, I recommend playing a round at Wade Hampton while you wait.

If you are not seeing course after you installed using disks please check that the green usb security dongle is plugged in.

Enabling SDK Output for Trackman 3e

Go into the TPS under settings and check the box that states “enable SDK output mode”.

Security check failed

No Security Dongle found.

  • Check that the green USB security dongle is plugged into the PC. If the security dongle is plugged in to the PC unplug it and reinsert it into a different USB port. This should reinstall the security dongle. If problem persists contact E6Golf Support.
Why can’t I putt?

If your tracking system does not support putting you will not be able to use the E6Golf putting feature.

Unable to initialize the graphic subsystem
  • Make sure your PC’s video card drivers are up to date.
  • This is occurring when E6Golf is listed in the auto start folder. You will need to remove it and try launching E6Golf again. If the issue remains please contact support at E6Golf.
E6Golf not loading

If E6Golf isn’t loading, update to the latest version of E6Golf. This can be done by downloading the patch listed in the “Do you have the latest version of E6Golf?” section above. If the problem persists contact Support.

E6Golf Lease has expired?

If you receiving an error message upon launching E6Golf it means that your security dongle has an expiration date. This will need to be resolved before E6Golf can be used. To resolve this you will need to contact the company where you purchased E6Golf.

Flightscope shot distances

If you are having issues with shot distances you may need to recalibrate your Flightscope unit. To do this you will need to run the Flightscope Setup Utility.

To access

  1. Right click on the E6Golf icon and select open file location.

Note: The Flightscope setup utility is located in C:\Program Files\TruGolf\E6 Golf 1.6

  1. Locate and open the flightscope setup utility.
  2. Select your connection and click configure.Flighscope setup utility
  3. Enter the proper distances and click ok.

Flightscope not connected
  1. Be sure that you have the FlightScope connected to the PC and that it is powered on and restart E6Golf.
  2. Flightscope software is installed on the PC and shots are registering inside of the FlightScope software.
  3. Try running the FlightScope set up utility located here C:\Program Files\TruGolf\E6 Golf on your PC.

Note:  IF the FlightScope is not being seen in the setup utility it will not be seen in E6Golf and you will need to contact Flightscope.

Shots are not registering

  1. Check if the ball is still blinking in the top view box located on the right side of the screen.
  2. If the ball is blinking make sure you are selecting the proper club type and that the shot being taken is supported by your tracking device. Example: Some systems cannot track putts.
    Note: E6Golf does not handle the tracking; it is simply providing an animation of the ball flight. All shots are based off of the data sent from the tracking device.
  3. If the ball is not blinking, this could mean E6Golf has crashed. Please submit the crash report as instructed.
  4. If you do not receive a crash report, check the following:
  • Is the tracking device responsive?
  • Does the PC meet the minimum requirements to run E6Golf?
  • Are you running the latest version of E6Golf?
No “tracking System” found
  1. Is the device turned on?
  2. Check that the hardware and drivers are installed correctly. Contact hardware manufacturer for further assistance.
  3. If the incorrect tracking system is being reported by E6Golf, contact E6Golf Support.
Do I need internet to use E6Golf 1.6?
  • In order to use the online features you will need to have internet access to the PC when using E6Golf.
  • You will still be able to play as a guest and use the practice areas offline.  Let’s face it you want to use the online play.
  • Internet is required to for auto updates to E6Golf. Updates can include but not limited to bug fixes, course content, and new game play features.
Cannot connect to the server
  1. Check your internet connection to be sure you have internet access.
  2. Make sure you have the latest version of E6golf installed.
  3. Disable security software or antivirus software.
  4. If the issue still persists please fill out a support request ticket providing your simulator ID. This can be located under the info tab inside of E6golf.
