Three Brothers’ Midwest Masterpiece

This week E6Golf is headed to a Midwest masterpiece in Chicago, Illinois. Cog Hill Golf and Country Club is located 30 miles outside of the Windy City, and has something for golfers of all skill levels. This track features world-class design, top instruction and club fitting, and an old-world style clubhouse renowned for its hospitality. Welcome to Cog Hill!

  • The course was originally owned and operated by three brothers; John W., Martin J., and Bert Coghill. The course opened for business on July 4th, 1927.
  • The course was built and designed by David McIntosh. It was built by manual labor and horse-drawn equipment.
  • Cog Hill has hosted The PGA Tour’s BMW Championship, formerly known as the Western Open.
